Recently got the week pass while on vacation and for the square footage of the gym the variety of equipment is incredible. Honestly, the only critique I can even think of is adding a couple of extra squat racks but with the variety of equipment you can easily work around this while you wait on the rack to open up. You can really tell the owners/managers are weightlifters and know what equipment to fill the gym with.
The Fitness Zone has one the most knowledgeable staffs around by all means, from therapy to personal training they can give anybody the level of direction in training one may need. Dr. Dave has an extensive background in exercise science and is one of best here in our area. If you haven’t stopped by The Fitness Zone you certainly should!

I’m from New Jersey and I come down here to visit my in-laws a few times a year and I was lucky enough to stumble across this absolute gem. This is my favorite gym of any I’ve been too in my life. If you’re an advanced level lifter especially, the machines are unique and provide such an awesome alternative to your typical regular equipment. The owner is welcoming and welcoming cuteness experienced and always offers awesome tips and advice. This gym has such an old school, garage gym type feel I highly recommend working out at this gym.
My wife, her parents, and I recently vacationed in North Myrtle Beach for a week and had a terrific time. One of the high points was working out at the Fitness Zone. The weekly rate was extremely affordable ($25) and the atmosphere was great. The equipment was varied, affording me with plenty of Hammer machines (plate-driven) and free weight (dumbells up to 150 lbs), and my 79 year old father-in-law enjoyed the selecterized machines (pin-driven) and plentiful lighter-weight dumbells. The owner, Doc, was incredibly helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a great gym for all ages and fitness levels! If you live in, or are visiting, North Myrtle Beach, you should definitely drop in for a work out.

Do you charge a yearly maintenance fee?
No, there are no yearly fees! However there is a one-time sign-up fee of $25
What will my billing cycle be?
Your billing cycle begins on the day that you sign up. If you would like to be billed a certain day, we can adjust your membership when you join only upon request and at the office.
What happens at the end of my contract?
When your contract ends, if selected, it will renew automatically. You may also choose to switch to a different plan.
Do you offer yearly Paid In Full club membership plan?
No, we do not offer yearly paid in full plans.
Can I pay monthly with Cash or a Check?
Yes, you may. However, you must have a valid credit card on file for incidentals.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, every person that visits our facility to exercise, either using equipment or a class, must sign a release of liability and COVID waiver. We also require a valid form of ID to sign up.
Does my new Club Membership Plan include Classes?
No, standard memberships grant you access to the Gym and its equipment.
If you are interested in participating in class, you may purchase a “Class Drop In” pass.
Do all Club Membership Plans have Initiation fees?
Yes, all memberships have a $25 sign-up fee which is billed at the time of signing up.
